Welcome to a new comic updating Tuesdays – The Night the Power Went Out, written by Kevin Kneupper, with art by Barnaby Bagenda and lettering by Adam Pruett.
The Night the Power Went Out is an illustrated, narrative poem about fantasy, reality, social isolation, and lots of other things. It’s an experiment to do this as a comic, so we’ll see if it works – but the art Barnaby is putting together is awesome and it should be worth it for that alone!

this is promissing.
Hmm,epic poetry in this day and age? Homer better watch his ass. The Elder Yedda can just suck some mead.
This is definitely one that I am keeping an eye on! Great first page!
I’m calling it right now. This scene is from an MMORPG that will be shut off shortly when the power goes out.
i can’t decide whether to hope you’re right, or hope you’re wrong. both ways would make this beyond epic
also, admin’s right – the art IS totally worth it by itself, but the poem’s not too bad either.
Looks promising and interesting. A poem, you say? Mayhem ensured? Count me in.
Poetic Mayhem
What a concept!
Defend the Eternia Crystals!
..They sent Trolls, dude- we don’t have any heavy hitters, just the Huntress and the Monk. I TOLD them we needed a squire!
Hmmmmmm……
Interesting effort, doing a comic in poetry–
It’s either very brave, or very…….
[Love the Art, tho'!]
This is exciting… I can’t wait to see where it goes!
After Lydian option finished, I was waiting for another comic to appear. Now my life is full.
Neither of our lives need much filling, do they, Mrq?
I have Journey playing in my head now. Ooon the BAAAYYYYY!
