With the Lydian Option completed, there will be some changes to the update schedule next week. You can still see Robert Rath’s art over at Wizard School, which will now be updating three times a week – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Wizard School will also be a continuing series for the indefinite future (ending when it starts to suck).
Cargo Cult is going to move to Thursdays, and sometime over the next few weeks there will be a new comic / illustrated poem updating on Tuesdays. Thanks to everyone for reading and hope you keep visiting!
Wait!?!?! Where is the obligatory nookie between the Hero and surviving hot chick? If no make out… then why bother saving her? I would have saved the much cool black guy… or better yet one of the awesome Asparaguys!
(still a fantastic comic though)

Not mentioning awsome piece of Art(big “A” is on purpose).I haven’t read anything that nice since…. I cant even remember since when I hope you guys are gonna keep up a great job!

Jago, quick update on your lists. Perseus Arm has some construction going on for the next two Galactic Standard years. 4X speed of light in designated areas and watch for detours.
People are leaving comments as if there were no sequel planned, is that true? If you don’t want to pursue that storyline, you could perhaps consider distinct stories in the same universe…
I haven’t planned one for the immediate future, but I have considered both ideas (sequel or story in the same universe) and that’s definitely a possibility at some point.
This comic was one of the most badass things on the web! I hate to see it come to an end.
But “Everything has a begining, has an end”.
For the makers of the comic:
“WE SALUTE YOU!” Thanks for this unique experience.
This was awesome! I would really like to read more within this universe – very creative and diverse species. Hopefully the creator(s) will come up with another comic? Please?
Eh I was hoping for more of an ending like what’s happening in the grand scheme of things, sure they set back the Bithynian awhile, but that’s not going to stop the next war. I’m kinda disappointed in this, maybe my expectations are too high…
the shizzards are pretty persistent. that, and they are probably being aided by a vaguely orachnid/cephalopodal alien that has its own reasons for hating humans – reasons generally associated with a shortage of legs.
our heroes (and heroine) managed to mess things up for them pretty good, but it’s only a matter of time before a new generation of dogshizzards (baby biths) hatches out and replaces the lives lost. a new bithniotarch will rise, eventually, or perhaps they will learn to work without one.
that said, there’s no such thing as enough when dealing with candy, explosions, or fan service
Congratulations to the Creative Team for a great trip through The Eye! If you want to do a sequel in this universe (and you do, don’t you?), I’ll be on board!
Bravo! Well done. Great comic, awesome art and a quick, right to the point plotline. While its sad that it is over, having a definite end is WAAAAY better than endlessly dragging it out until the Asparaguy jumps the Shizzard…
They may win the philosophical debate about the war, but thinking back to the introduction of them in the gym (Issue #1 Pages #12-14) I have my doubts about the actual hostilities.
epic! so beautiful scene, the “eye” formed with the images of the fallen ones and those green lights like it is crying….sell the story to tv or hollywood please!
epico! que hermosa escena, el “ojo” formado con las imagenes de los caidos y esas luces verdes que parece como si estuviese llorando….vende la historia a la tv o a hollywood por favor!

“Wizard School” starting to suck?
I very much doubt that!
Why not? It happened to that other guy…Hairy Pothead?
Will keep visiting, was a great job you did
Right now the smile on my face is so big it hurts!
Thanks for the awesome comic, guys! Bravo!
Shame to see it end but it was a great ride.
Wait!?!?! Where is the obligatory nookie between the Hero and surviving hot chick? If no make out… then why bother saving her? I would have saved the much cool black guy… or better yet one of the awesome Asparaguys!
(still a fantastic comic though)
in a vote between Rena and the Asparaguys, she wouldn’t stand a chance! Still, her death would not have been nearly so epic or tragic
In other news, internet denizen demands storytelling cliche.
Not that there’s anything WRONG with that……
Indeed– there is a reason these things become cliches!
Same feeling here … a long travel back to earth in an empty ship, might as well rock it to shed the boredom
Now THAT’S the Attitude, Dude!
The 1 million mile high club!
Och noooo…. It’s the end
really pitty it had to end some day…

DAMN! That always happens when I go on vacation!
+3 keeping it real
ooooooh—- this explains why Oprah keeps having commercial sex slaves missing organs as guests. I wondered about that.
And I’m wondering why I didn’t watch Oprah when I had the chance–*DANG!*
Ah i love the characters in the eye as the fly away but i cant see Mr. Morgan Freeman in there that makes me sad
. Still great commic
!!
Very nicely done, I enjoyed every pixel of it!

Yay!
Please excuse me while I jump up-n’-down ‘a-squealin’ like a lil’ girl for Great Joy!!!
excuse you? we’ll join you!
And then we can ALL hauled off to the Loony Bin, together!
*La-La-La-Lah!*
This comic was one of the most badass things on the web! I hate to see it come to an end.
But “Everything has a begining, has an end”.

“WE SALUTE YOU!” Thanks for this unique experience.
Well told. Bravo!
This was awesome! I would really like to read more within this universe – very creative and diverse species. Hopefully the creator(s) will come up with another comic? Please?
Seconded. Looks like a universe with heaps of storytelling potential.
I very much enjoyed this comic, thank you all.
Thanks for the story!
Thank you.
So another story comes to an end.
A fine story. It would be nice to expand further on this universe.
Maybe another story in the latter ?
Good Story, Great Characters [especially the Asparaguys!]
And now we must go, just when it was feeling like Home……..
*sniff*
Why do they keep ending these comics? Nuke them, then shoot the glowy bits!
Ever wonder why LIFE happens once, with a clear ending, but “half-life” goes on forever, over and over…
Hurry up with Half-Life 3 already!!!! I’m waiting! Valve!
Thanks for the ride, I had fun!
Next up, the exclusive Adult Sequel;
THA’LATTA SEX PRISON
Wait-a-Minute!
I thought we ALREADY did that one, JSC!
Skreeeeeeeeeee!
I heartily recommend WESTWARD, a remarkably well drawn, character rich SCI-FI epic strip to be found at http://westwardcomic.com
The story is nearly 2 years in progress now, but a walk through the “encyclopedia” will prepare you for addiction.
Thanks–I’ll give it a Looksie!
Eh I was hoping for more of an ending like what’s happening in the grand scheme of things, sure they set back the Bithynian awhile, but that’s not going to stop the next war. I’m kinda disappointed in this, maybe my expectations are too high…
What? You don’t think they managed to F*** things up, ENOUGH!?

True, very True!
Congratulations to the Creative Team for a great trip through The Eye! If you want to do a sequel in this universe (and you do, don’t you?), I’ll be on board!
Thanks for the fantastic read! Very well done, all together!

*snicker*
Well that was cool. Another comic ends, another begins. Thus is the circle of Teh Internets.
That would be *such, not thus -_-
I read this whole thing on the day this comic came out, for the first time… it ended WAY too early for me
Um………Yeah
[Valid Point to Gordon, methinks]
And wouldn’t that be the Final Irony!
[Somewhere, an Asparaguy is Smiling]
Who exactly are you commenting on?
Your last comment, Gordon–
Sorry, but for some reason, when I first posted those remarks, there was no “Reply” button on your comment……
we feel your pain – but it must’ve been awesome to be able to read it without any of that waiting
What if the Earth planetary defense blows them to bits? They are in a Tha’Latta ship (with guns). It’s possible, right?
And see!?
It did it again!
But this time there WAS “Reply” button, only it still posted my last comment ABOVE yours….
Oh, well
And now it IS working as it should….
*Bleah*
“bleah” is right. Wonderful modern technology.
Rest in peace, Asperguys.
They were the best thing about this comic.
Amen!
without them, the comic was void and empty (of asparaguys)
it was very good. I like how it ended, but i wish it could continue. There is a war coming after all.
And I’m going to believe that the Planet of the Asparaguys wins that war!
They may win the philosophical debate about the war, but thinking back to the introduction of them in the gym (Issue #1 Pages #12-14) I have my doubts about the actual hostilities.

This shit was awesome way better than Wizard School
